Christmas Tree Fudge Box

Went grocery shopping early this morning and found a special sale on Chocolate Fudge.  Bought a big box of it and plan to share some of it with my neighbors.  I cut out this Christmas Tree Candy Box with my Cameo using a cut file from the Silhouette store.  It has dividers inside so it can fit four pieces of fudge in each box.  Tag was cut out with MS tag punch and attached to the ribbon with red twine.

Warm Winter Wishes

I love all the Bugaboo digis, but I think the snowmen are my favorite images.  I used the challenge color chart and colored the image in GIMP using the color dropper so they all match.  I did have to add orange for the carrot, but other than that I used all the colors on the chart.  Also used the strip paper on the packages in the bottom photo as my inspiration for the background paper which I made in GIMP using overlays from Mel Stampz.

Chubby Snowman

My hubby is running errands for me this morning so I have a hour to play with paper.  This little cutie is a digi image from the Bugaboo store.  You can't tell from the photo, but I colored him with patterns in Gimp so he looks like he was paper pieced.  Also embossed the white layers with my new Darice snowflakes embossing folder.  This is going in next weeks box to the children's charity.

Santa Card

I've lots to do, but wanted to sneak in some crafting time this afternoon.  I made this CAS style Santa card for a special little girl.   The fun digi image is from Bugaboo.  Also used my new Darice snowflake embossing folder.  Cut out the image with my Silhouette Cameo.  Instead of using pop dots, I cut out 4 extra layers to mount Santa on.  Gives some dimension without the high cost of the pop dots.

Christmas tree flip card

Look familiar?  Yes I did make a similar card a few months ago.  This is a slightly different version of the Christmas tree flip card I made in Sept.  I used the same red card base and diagonal paper, but cut out a solid green tree.  I embossed the tree with a Cuttlebug swirl folder and added some red twine and a tiny gold metallic star which I cut out with a Whimsy die.  The other pieces were cut out with my Silhouette Cameo using a cut file from the Silhouette store.

Thank you card

It's been raining on and off all day so I am staying inside and playing with my Silhouette Cameo.  I am running low on Thank you cards so I went through the cutting files in my library that I purchased from the Silhouette store.  I found this pretty floral one that I bought a while ago but never cut out until today.  The colors are a bit off in the photo, in real life the card is bright white and hot pink on a black card base.  Pearls are white too but look yellow in the photo.   But the dark overcast skies are making me use a flash this afternoon which alters the colors.

Bought a Sizzix card die called Scalloped Square Flip It. (It cuts out a square shaped flip swing card base with a scalloped square cut out in the center. ) Used Bazzill red cardstock for the base.  Stamped Snoopy, then cut out image and black background layer with Spellbinders dies.  Punched the scalloped corners with a EK Success Paper Shapers Photo Corner punch.  I checked my stash and I didn't have 4 red buttons that were the right size for the corners, so I cut out "paper" buttons with my Cameo and Bazzill cardstock using a cut file I found at the Silhouette store.

I'm back....

We got most of the indoor projects done, but have to wait for a countertop to be made to finish the work. And it's raining really hard so can't work outside.  It gives me a good excuse to stay indoors and play with paper and my craft supplies.  Lol, it's been so long since I made a card, I forgot where I put things and had to go digging through closets to find where I put my Christmas supplies to make this one.  The image is a precolored digi by Elizabeth Bell and is sold by Hobby House.  They come on a sheet called Christmas Eve.  It has 6 colored images on the sheet.  So fun to work with.
